The music director toiled hard to make it work. It was magic!
It's a song you'll react to instantly - Perhaps because of the instruments used in the song. That's Rathish's brilliance.
Joshi Sir and the scriptwriter Sachi insisted I sing that song. I don't know why.
I doubt even they expected the song would be such a big hit. But it clicked. And the song helped the film succeed.
What about your character in Karmayodha?
This is a suspense thriller. It’s pegged on the disappearance of a lot of housewives and children from Kerala. I play a Mumbai-based cop, an encounter specialist.
If I reveal how I crack the case, what's the fun?!
Major Ravi should be speaking about this film. But am sure it will be a thriller.
Your new projects?
I’m doing Joshi Sir's Lokpal now. After that, there’s a Shaji film. And then, Siddhique's Ladies and Gentlemen.
No films with Priyadarshan?
After all these films are done!
We've heard that novels like Mayyazhipuzhayude Theerangalil and Randamoozham will be made into films. Any chance you'd be part of that?
We've been hearing about that for a long time. Let it happen.
Has anyone discussed these projects with you?
Many times. There were reports that Randamoozham was happening. But there were just reports.
The project has to move. There has to be enough reasons for that.
I've never told anyone that I want to play Randamoozham's Bhim. A director asked me if I wanted to do that role: I said Yes.
It could take a long time for things to happen - It may happen, it may not happen.
Don't you want to do that role?
It isn't enough that I wish to do that role...The role should happen, right?
