Movies we wish you`d seen in 2009
Earlier in 2009, Anurag Kashyap blogged that he believed this would be the golden year of Indian cinema. The Dev D director had just seen Luck by Chance and Love Aaj Kal, and had every reason to be hopeful. "Taking risks is going to be the new 'safe' and playing safe will be disastrous," he wrote.

It didn't quite turn out to be the golden year, and 2009 didn't have a Mumbai Meri Jaan or A Wednesday like 2008.

But the year did have its fair share of good movies that few got to watch: some didn't even come to a theatre in your city, some vanished so fast you never knew about them - because of zero or limited publicity.

Here's looking at the films we wish more people had seen. And in case you want to watch them, look out for the link to the original DVD at the end of each slide.
