Going with the theme of the event - Celebrate the festival of love - the venue was decorated with Barbie angels.
A slick trailer and two songs - picturised on the lead pair Atharva and Amala - were premiered. Judging by the visuals, it is clear that the pair share a sizzling chemistry.
One of the songs is similar to the Ranbir-Priyanka song in Anjaana Anjaani, shot on the beautiful LA to Las Vegas road.
A ballet dance by Rukmini was followed by Baba Sehgal, Maya and Sitara rendering two songs from the album.
Compere Jagan called every technician who worked on the film - right from the producer, production managers to the sound engineers - which made the function very personal and special.
Later, directors Gautham Menon and KV Anand opened the magic box and unveiled the audio.
"Music director GV Prakash Kumar is talented and I like all his works especially in Mayakkam Enna," Gautham said.
The producers Jayaraman, Elred Kumar and James of RS Infotainment played perfect hosts at the function.
