Namitha plays a Yoga teacher in Namitha I Love You which does not boast of any known actor or technician. Jayasimha Reddy who had worked in Telugu films is the director of this film. Namitha says that the film has an action oriented story and meets with her desire to experiment.
"I have played enough glamour oriented roles in my career. Even my three previous Kannada films with Ravichandran sir and Darshan were glamorous. But in Namitha I Love You the focus has shifted and I play the role of a Yoga teacher who tries to reform her students. I am also involved in a little bit of investigation and indulge in action against the villains too," says Namitha.
