New Bond film titled Skyfall

The 23rd James Bond film is ready to roll, and it's called Skyfall. The name is not a surprise - in fact, the producers admitted it was "the worst-kept secret in London" - because rumours were rabid after the name was registered as an internet domain earlier in the year.

The film is directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his third film as James Bond 007.

The movie will also feature biggies like Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.

In Skyfall, Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter what the cost.

Skyfall goes into production on November 7, and the makers have announced that a few scenes will be shot in India.
