The current political environment in India has inspired Prakash Jha to begin his new political drama, Satyagraha - Democracy Under Fire.
"The whole world is in the line of agitation. People are fed up of corruption, inflation, and mal-administration," said the director.
"Amidst these problems, beautiful stories are coming out. By bonding these stories together I am making Satyagraha."
The film reportedly has Amitabh Bachchan playing a social activist who is a firm believer of truth and the Gandhian way.
Ajay Devgn plays an ambitious entrepreneur, while Manoj Bajpai gets into the skin of wily politician - one who uses every means to break the system for his own benefit.
Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor plays an international television correspondent, inspired by CNN chief international correspondent and journalist Christiane Amanpour.
The film is currently being shot in Bhopal, and Big B has been giving us a blow-by-blow account of what's going on on the sets through his Facebook page. Take a look.
