The legendary alternative rock band is out with a ninth album and it's nothing like we've ever heard before. Accompanying the grand debut of Backspacer is a bit of controversy.
The art on the CD jacket comprising nine illustrations by cartoonist Dan Perkins, pen name Tom Tomorrow, has run into a spot of trouble. Village Voice Media has boycotted all cartoons by him. But Eddie Vedder wouldn't let up without a fight for his friend. He took the issue to the band's website with an open letter to the media house.
Here's a look at the controversial cover and the band that's back with a big bang!
