The movie is an issue based film and does not restrict itself to a few fights and entertaining elements.
"I have always wanted to do action films. Jarasandha is inspired by Mahabharatha. According to the mythology it was hard to kill Jarasandha and Krishna had to plan it well in advance. I have taken this idea to frame the story" said Shashank.
"There will be less of heroism, but more of reality and concern for values in this film. Shashank has done a fantastic job with the script. I am excited to see the film shaping up. I am happy that I am working with Rangayana Raghu again", said Vijay.
Praneetha is the heroine of the film.
