Prateik Babbar's upcoming film Issaq is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet but the actor says the movie does not have a tragic ending like the original story.
Prateik said the film, which is set in the backdrop of Banaras, is not a heart-rending story and the lovers don't die in it.
"We do not die," Prateik, who stars opposite debutante Amyra Dastur told reporters.
Dastur, who has been part of many TV commercials, said she had always dreamt of being a heroine.
The actress plays the role of Bachchi in the movie.
The actors went on a Victoria Horse Ride, fondly called the baggi ride to promote the film. Even fans got a chance to go on the romantic baggi rides in Marine Drive.
Directed by Manish Tiwary, Issaq releases on 26th July 2013.
