The film is a take on the present state of politics in India, and Abhay said he hoped the film would touch people's consciousness to ask fundamental questions about the country.
Abhay plays a Tamil IAS officer in the film, Emraan a porn film maker and Kalki a student activist.
Abhay is all praise for his co-star Emraan and said that he is an underrated actor who has acted brilliantly in Shanghai.
Dibakar, who is known for making realistic films with panache, is teaming up with Abhay for the second time - after Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!.
