'To make a film on the life and times of faction leader Paritala Ravi is not an immediate thought of mine. It had been in my mind for the last five years. I did some research for this film. I also met the family members of Ravi and learnt so many things. The purview of the faction subject is vast and we cannot say it in just two hours,' says RGV. Hence, he is planning to release the movie in two parts, both of which would be released this summer.
RGV explains why he has taken Vivek for Parital Ravi's role.'After thinking hard on every actor both known and unknown I have finally zeroed in on Vivek Oberoi as the most ideal choice to play Paritala Ravi. He has remarkable intensity in his eyes which I noticed during the making of Company, a voice which commands attention, an arrogance in his demeanour, an enormous power in his stance, and also a certain vulnerability which makes one instantly warm up to him, which is what is needed to fit in a role of Paritala Ravi's profile'.
