Raavan beheaded, Kites slashed & a Khan who made us yawn

Half the year's done, and Bollywood's trooped out quite a few of their offerings for 2010. What's notable is that many of the huge productions, with a star cast to put the Milky Way to shame, proved such disasters at the box office that historians would hesitate before recording them.

At the same time, films that most industry people wrote off as vaguely interesting concepts grabbed the janta by the throat and refused to let go.

Here's taking a look at the good, the bad and the ugly of 2010. And we begin with the one that's etched on our brains right now.
