Rajinikanth's Sivaji in 3D trimmed

Rajinikanth’s Shankar directed Sivaji (2005) is now ready in a new 3D avatar. Rajinikanth himself saw the film recently and was mighty impressed by the 3D effects.

AVM Saravanan the producer of the film told a newspaper: “Sivaji in 3D has come out well. In fact recently Rajinikanth watched the 3D version and enjoyed it.The 3D version has a running time of 2 hours and 17 minutes.”

The original running time of Sivaji is 185 minutes, which has now been cut down to 137 minutes, to suit the 3D format. 48 minutes of the film has been trimmed.
