The superstar saw the play with 200 special children. Said Maanu: "This special show held for differently-abled kids was a sort of dream come true for me. We took special care in bringing them to the venue and making sure they were seated comfortably. We had even organized lunch for them."
The other guests included directors K Balachander and Saran. Added Maanu: "Rajini sir compared Puralavan, the lead actor of the play, to late Sivaji Ganesan and said he has the capacity to hold the fort for 45 minutes without pausing for breath like the Nadigar Thilagam".
