Nanban is a remake of Raju Hirani`s blockbuster 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan. It is produced by Gemini Film Circuit (GFC).
The Shankar directed remake has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Ileana and others. It has music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is now in post-production stage and is planning a very big release and is also getting dubbed into Telugu.
Shankar himself said in his blog: "Nanban shooting 100% completed. Since Velayudham is releasing on Diwali, Nanban will be for Pongal. And the audio will start rocking your ears from December. All is well!"
The audio launch of Nanban is likely to be held in the first week of December. Shankar and GFC are planning a big ticket audio launch.
Aamir Khan and Raju Hirani are likely to be the chief guests at the red carpet audio launch.
