What happens when actress Shilpa Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra decide to play cricket with school kids? Pure electric fun!
The atmosphere at Mt Carmel School, Ahmedabad, was charged when Rajasthan Royals’ co-owners Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra - in town to launch the corporate hospitality programme for their team - arrived to promote sports among the students.
The girls welcomed the couple by releasing blue and white balloons, the signature colours of the Rajasthan Royals. After a short speech, in which Shilpa encouraged the students to actively take part in sports and felicitated those who had performed outstandingly well with the 'Royal Blue' turban, the couple walked up to the crease. And the fun began.
Shilpa and Raj formed two teams with the girls. The two-over match was a nail-biting one. At the end, Raj's team needed two runs from the last ball and the businessman smashed it for a four! It was a 'field' day indeed for everyone.
