Mumbai-based actress Shilpi Sharma is debuting in Kannada through the 3-D action thriller Aakramana. The movie will be released in Tamil and Telugu as well. It is the second full-length 3-D movie in Kannada and it will be released shortly.
Shilpi will also be seen in a Telugu movie titled Green Signal, which is produced by Maruthi Dasari, a well-known director. In Aakramana, the actress claims, she has a challenging role and could fetch her more offers in Kannada movies. Aakramana also has Raghu Mukherjee and Bollywood star Daisy Shah in important roles.
She started her acting career through TV fantasy series Kahani Chandrakantha Ki, is keen on making a mark in south movies. According to her, she is in discussion with Thirupathi Brothers for her Tamil project.
