The silver jubilee function of Shivaraj Kumar was certainly a great extravaganza for the Kannada film industry.
The inauguration of the function was jointly done by Ms. Parvathamma Raj Kumar, mother of actor Shivaraj Kumar, Ms. Sharadamma, sister of Dr. Raj Kumar and former Chief Minister S.Bangarappa and his wife who are the actor`s in-laws. Ravichandran, Jaggesh and Ramesh Arvind along with their family were also felicitated by Shivaraj Kumar, his wife and Puneet Raj Kumar, his wife.
The event started with Sridhar and his wife dancing to `Onkaara`. Puneet Raj Kumar danced for four songs while actors Darshan and Audithya shared the dias to the excitment of fans for the `Hodi Maga` song.
Shivaraj Kumar's former heroines Malashri and Anu Prabhakar's dances, and Shashi Kumar's dance for popular songs added grace. The present generation artists, Chiranjeevi Sarja, Yesh, Yogish, Radhika Pandit, Raagini, Aindrita, Pooja Gandhi, Vijaya Raghavendra, Murali, Vishal Hegde, Naveen Krishna, Radhika Gandhi andNeetu danced for several popular songs from Shivaraj Kumar's films.
Rebel star Ambareesh and Home Minister Ashok who were the special invitees of the function felicitated actor Shivaraj Kumar. Actors Ravishankar, Sreenagara Kitty, Srujan Lokesh and Shruthi took charge of compering.
