The feedback from the Sikh community was taken and changes were made to the film.
Ajay Devgn, star of Son of Sardaar, screened the film for members of the Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board recently, saying that the purpose of a film was to entertain, and not hurt the sentiments of any community.
The Board is reportedly pleased with the changes, and it looks like Son of Sardaar is ready for release in its new family- and community-friendly version.
The film, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla, is about a feud between two Punjabi families.
It will come out in theatres on November 13.
