The Kannada film stars were the major attraction during the 77th Kannada Literary Conference held in Bengaluru after a gap of nearly 40 years.
Leading Kannada film stars, producers and directors led the procession along with thousands of Kannada enthusiasts to give a perfect start to the Kannada literary conference.
Except for Ambareesh, Ravichandran, Darshan and Sudeep almost all the leading stars were seen at the procession.
Veteran actor Srinath, Padmabhooshan B.Saroja Devi, Shivaraj Kumar, Upendra, Puneet Raj Kumar, Golden Star Ganesh, Nenapirali Prem, Jayanthi, Anu Prabhakar, Karbasavayya, Umesh, Ramesh Bhat, Shankara Bhat, Doddannna, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President and Producer Basanth Kumar Patil, leading film producers K.C.N.Chandrashekhar, Sa.Ra.Govindoo, Rockline Venkatesh, K.Manju, Madhushoodhana Reddy and music director Hamsalekha were seen during the procession.
The stars were holding flags and shouting pro-Kannada slogans. There were very few Kannada heroines.
