Sudeep plays the lead role apart from directing the movie. Raagini has been cast opposite him. The movie is produced by Shankare Gowda. Arjun is the music director.
Kempe Gowda is the remake of the Tamil hit Singam. Ravi Shankar plays the villain in this film which has cinematography by Krishna. One song featuring many of the young heroes of Kannada film industry has been picturised in an outdoor spot near Bengaluru. The film will be releasing in over 150 theatres on the 10th of March.
