Tabu and Suraj Sharma walked the red carpet at the 70th annual Golden Globe awards with director Ang Lee at the ceremony held at Beverly Hilton Hotel, California. Though nominated in three categories, the film won only the Golden Globe for Best Original Score composed by Mychael Danna. Tabu, known for her offbeat and intense performances, opted to stay desi at the international gala in a bright red designer sari teamed with a heavily embroidered golden blouse.
Debutant Suraj, 19, exuded confidence in a tuxedo.
Suraj plays the lead in the movie, which is based on Canadian author Yann Martel's award-winning novel.
