For long, there has been the cry for a true music fest in the country, encompassing all genres.
And who better than Indie music flag bearers, NH7, hosting the first Weekender in 2010, a three day event that drew together 50 bands over five stages.
A resounding success, the Weekender got bigger in 2011. While the number of bands playing remained more or less the same, the event was huge. The stages were bigger, the total area was larger, there were more stalls, the marketing was crazy.
Pretty much everything was huge! This year, the event was held at Laxmi Lawns, Magarpatta, Pune.
