The promotion for Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film Ugly was quite bizarre indeed. The stage was set up to portray different scenes, which one assumes, will appear in the film. There was a chaatwallah, a sherbet stall and a kite vendor.
Anurag posed in front of these symbolic backdrops and addressed the audience.
Ugly stars Tejaswini Kolhapure as an alcoholic who re-unites with her ex-husband when their child is kidnapped.
Ronit Roy, who played the father in coming-of-age tale Udaan, co-stars as the ex-husband, who is incidentally a teetotaller.
