With globalisation, burgeoning social networking and channels like YouTube, we are exposed to movie industries from across the world that take film advertising pretty seriously.
The South Indian film industry is slowly waking up to the fact that the script makes the cash registers ring as much as its stars, and that it needs to project itself in an interesting light.
Helping some of the filmmakers on this journey, where art and marketing go hand-in-hand, is Neel Roy. This creative director from an MNC ad agency, has given us some memorable posters - including the much-talked-about new release, Panjaa.
