Challenging Star Darshan`s Saarathy directed by Dinakar Toogudeepa and produced by K.V.Sathya Prakash is the biggest block buster of the year having crossed more than Rs. 15 crores in collections around the state.
Local girl Deepa Sannidhi made her debut with this film. Darshan`s two earlier releases, Prince and Boss, were flops. Saarathy gave him a new lease of life.
Saarathy was a technically brilliant film. Music director Hari Krishna and cinematographer Krishna Kumar made a good impact. Tamil actor Sharath Kumar`s special role was well appreciated.
