Controversial producer and director AMR Ramesh’s Vanayudham based on slain forest brigand Veerappan is now ready for release on February 14. Kishore plays the role of Veerappan in the film, which also features Arjun and Vijayalakshmi in the lead.
Ramesh who had a tough time as Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi had filed a case against him in the High Court, has now cleared the hurdles. The High Court has cleared the film with certain cuts and censors have given it an U certificate, which has enabled it to be tax free in Tamil Nadu.
AMR Ramesh at his press conference said: “ Three scenes with a running time of 3 to 4 minutes has been edited as per Muthulakshmi’s request. All is well now and Vendhar Movies Madan is releasing it big in TN on February 14.”
