Ilayathalapathy Vijay convened a meet with his fans at his auditorium in Vadapalani on Saturday (May 28). Recently there has been some upheaval in Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (VMI), following the star’s decision to support AIADMK front during the Tamil Nadu elections.
The meeting on Saturday was to thank all his fans for being loyal and sticking with him during a difficult period. Some of his fans had revolted when he supported the AIADMK, but at the end of the day the star was proved correct. Vijay and his dad SA Chandrasekhar could gauge which way the wind was blowing in this election.
At the meeting, Vijay said that he is thankful to all his fans who ensured that the AIADMK won the elections. To celebrate the success, the star treated all his fans to a big feast.
