Thaandavam will be an action-entertainer starring Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Santhanam, Jagapathy Babu among others.
The film will have music from G.V. Prakash Kumar, lyrics by Na. Muthukumar, camera by Nirav Shah, editing by Anthony, art direction by Nagu, written & directed by A.L.Vijay.
The music composition has already started and the pre-production work is currently on.
Thaandavam will have never-seen- action scenes in Indian cinema, involving Hollywood technicians. The film commences shooting in Chennai from December first week and will go on continuously in various locations of USA and in Delhi in addition to various locations in South Tamil Nadu.
It will be a summer 2012 release for Vikram, who plays a strong character Shiva.
It will be UTV’s own production in Tamil and Telugu.
UTV commenced an innovative title contest in Twitter and it received massive response from fans of cinema and Vikram.
