In the last year, the sari went from beautiful to beastly, all thanks to three small words - net, velvet and sequins. Suddenly, the five yards of fabric metamorphosed from elegant into something a person with a smidgen of sense would think twice about wearing.
However, we discovered that people with sense are few and very far in between. The fashionistas of Bollywood led the way into a fashion nightmare, and the janta just followed like sheep!
