Ever since the premiere of Bigg Boss, Kamal Haasan seems to be embroiled in a series of controversies. From the Hindu Makkal Katchi protesting against the reality show to the actor being reprimanded for revealing the name of the Malayalam actress in the assault case, there seems to be one controversy after another surrounding the actor and the reality show. And it doesn't end there.
K Krishnaswamy, the leader of Puthiya Tamizhagam has threatened to file a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Kamal Haasan. Why? A contestant named Gayathri Raghuram used the word cheri (slum) while she was talking to a housemate and this didn't settle well with most groups.
The comment irked K Krishnaswamy and he wants Kamal Haasan to apologise for the comment made by the housemate on a public platform.
