A film on 2-G and Nira Radia scam

The various scams in our country are fodder for script writers and the 2G scam is one such in recent times. Now a Tamil film Pathayiram Kodi has come up with a character based on Nira Radia who became infamous due to the scam.

The film is the comeback vehicle of ace producer and director Mukta Srinivasan’s son V Srinivasan Sundar who’s last film was Kangalin Varthaigal ten years ago. He has also made films like Chinna Chinna Asaigal and Kodai Mazhai. The movie has newcomer Dhruv from Mumbai opposite Madhalsa.

The film is a comedy caper dealing with a man who can become invisible, played by Gokul. The Niira Radia inspired character eggs a group of college students on to conduct a heist of Ten thousand crores. Comedian Vivek who has a meaty role, has got a jodi in this movie which is none other than the Nira character.

However, director Srinivasan is on the lookout for a suitable girl to take up the role, as the actor he had signed up, left the unit in the lurch midway. Once the scenes are shot, the film will wrap up and look for a suitable release date. Srinvasan is producing his first film under his new Maya Creations banner.
