Are you tired of films featuring a stereotypical, battle hardened male assassin with a gruff, manly voice and a sad backstory, typically one where his wife and child are killed?
If yes, then Violet & Daisy might be the film for you. Featuring two pretty young women as teenage assassins, Violet and Daisy tells their story as they take up a seemingly straightforward assignment that would drag them into a world of pain.
Saoirse Ronan and Alexis Bledel play the characters of Violet and Daisy, who are tasked with the assassination of a mysterious man (played by James Gandolfini).
The film is the directorial debut of Geoffrey Fletcher, the Oscar winning screenwriter of the 2009 film Precious.
