It is an acid test for young and upcoming actor Gautam Karthik, son of 80’s heart throb Karthik and grandson of legendary actor Muthuraman.
His first film as hero Mani Ratnam’s Kadal, was a total washout.
Now this Friday, (April 25) his second film Yennamo Yedho is hitting the screens. It is a romantic comedy and a remake of Telugu hit Ala Modalaindi. A lot is riding on this film for Gautam, as it has to become a hit, otherwise it will become even more difficult for him to survive.
Remember, Gautam Karthik has three more films due this year, Aishwarya Dhanush’s big budget Vai Raja Vai, Sippai and Indrajith. Yenammo Yedho has to hit the bull’s eye if his other films have to be sold.
In this industry what matters most is a hit. Gautam is a talented guy, but he needs a hit to strengthen his position in the box-office.
All eyes are on Yenammo Yedho, which is being marketed by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
