As the recent Supreme Court judgment allowing the entry of women of all ages to enter the Sabarimala temple becomes a serious issue, actor Kollam Thulasi has gone a bit too far.
During a rally organized in connection with the protest against the verdict, Kollam Thulasi said that “women who enter Sabarimala temple should be ripped into two pieces. One portion should be thrown to Delhi and the other to the Kerala Chief Minister.”
The actor, who has been known as a BJP supporter, went on to say more provocative statements during his speech. Later, he apologized for his remarks saying he was carried away by the mood and that he will not be part of the protests again.
However, a case has been registered against Kollam Thulasi, as per reports.
Kollam Thulasi is mostly seen in Malayalam movies playing characters with shades of grey.
