Ranee Paradise theater in Thanjavur has opted out of screening Sarkar after the distributor of that area forced him to sell tickets in black for more than Rs 200. The official Twitter handle of the theater also added that Vijay should practice what he preaches on the big screen.
“Since we have not agreed to Sarkar Distributor's condition of selling all tickets in Black for more than Rs.200 for the 1st 2 days, we will not screen Sarkar. We always want to provide good entertainment in an ethical manner. Actor Vijay should practice what he preaches.@actorvijay", posted Ranee Paradise on Twitter.
Most of the theaters charging Rs 300 per ticket for the first two days in Tamil Nadu. It is worth mentioning that Sarkar should collect Rs 117 cr in Tamil Nadu to achieve break-even status.
