The story, screenplay and treatment of director T. Nagarajan are outdated and predictable with hardly any twist. Thiru (Nanda) is an employee of Airtel, a cellular service provider in Tuticorin. He leads a happy life with his mother (Seeta), Paati (Sukumari) and sister in a beautiful house. Soon he falls in love with a girl, Preeti (Hardeep) after he sees her in pouring rain and later her bra falls on his bike from her balcony(!!)!
One day due to extreme provocation, he beats up the brother of the uncrowned don of Tuticorin, Varma (Biju Menon) and soon the family ends up in deep trouble. Thiru tries to plead with the uncouth don, but the guy says he can start counting his days as he will kill him and his family after the local election! So Thiru and his family are on the run, but the don brings them back to Tuticorin to face their death warrant issued by him!
Post interval, after being repeatedly humiliated by don and his men, Thiru's mother gives him courage and asks him to take the gauntlet and fight back to save the lives of his family members. The meek Thiru, becomes a one-man fighting machine and using his brawn beats up and kills the mighty army of the don!!!
The film cares little for reason or logic. The actor's just ham- including Biju Menon a fine performer reduced to a growl here. What is happening to you Vivek? He is recycling his earlier comedy tracks. In a previous comedy track if he ends up eating Kaka biriyani, here the unsuspecting guy is forced to consume Poonai (cat) meat! Yuvan's music is a total let down, as he has also recycled his own tunes!
Verdict: Waste of time
