The shooting for Agraja, a movie featuring super star Darshan and comedy star Jaggesh, is complete. The climax portion involving both the stars was canned at the Rockline Studios in Bangalore by stunt director Vinod. The movie is being directed by Srinandan, who is debuting as a full time director through Agraja, which is produced by The Great Indian Movie Creators.
This big budget movie will decide the future of Jaggesh, once called the Collection King of Sandalwood. Jaggesh, who started his own genre of movies, laced with comedy dialogues, is struggling for survival. Meanwhile, his younger brother Komal has replaced him as the popular comedy star. Jaggesh’s attempts to launch his sons on the silver screen have met with limited success.
The movie has as many as three heroines – Kamna Jethmalani, Sanjjanaa Archana and Hardika Shetty. The support star cast a strong line-up of actors, such as, Sadashiv Brahmavar, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, Suchendra Prasad, Biradar, Kuri Prathap, and Srinivasa Prabhu. Saiprakash plays the villain role while well-known director Om Sai Prakash has appeared in a cameo role in Agraja.
Naren Raj has composed the music for the movie while Ramesh Babu is the cinematographer. Santosh has written the dialogues while Ravi Verma has directed the important action sequences. A majority portion of the movie’s shooting took place in Bangalore. The movie is said to be about friendship between childhood friends.
Darshan has enjoyed success after success for the last four years and if Jaggesh is lucky, Agraja should be a hit.
