Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen playing a cricketer in her new film with singer turned director Arunraja Kamaraj.
Aishwarya is currently training herself to get the body language right for a cricketer. In the film, Aishwarya plays an independent girl from a middle-class family and her only dream in life is to achieve big in the women’s cricket.
Though a lot of cricket based films have released in India, none of the directors have explored women in cricket. Produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions, Sathyaraj also plays a pivotal character in the film.
Besides Arunraja film, Aishwarya Rajesh plays a ‘Kasimedu’ girl in Vetrimaaran’s gangster trilogy Vada Chennai and she also plays a pivotal character in Chiyaan Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram, which is being directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
