Aishwarya Dhanush was one of the guests at a mega star-studded function held at Wellington Island Port Trust Stadium in Kochi on Monday, Feb 6 to honour legendary singer K.J. Yesudas, who completed 50 years as a play back singer.
Aishwarya, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth was the only person who represented Tamil cinema and the huge crowd went berserk as she read out a message note send by her dad who could not make it for the function.
Later, she flew back to Chennai with both the legends Ilayaraja and Yesudas and this is what Aishwarya had to share with sify.com: “ I feel blessed that I have lived a life in close association and constant touch with such legends who treat me like family. I travelled back from Kochi to Chennai with both the legends by my side and it was like travelling with two fathers. That's the way they were talking to me and took care of me”
Many prominent people from the music world like Ilayaraja, Dr. Balamurali Krishna, Sonu Nigam, Usha Uthup, Shreya Goshal, Hariharan, Dakshinamoorty, KS Chitra, Sujatha and actors Mohanlal, Mammootty, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi to name a few who graced the function.
