AK 56, the costliest Kannada film

AK 56, the costliest Kannada film being made is directed by Kannada film industry`s most successful commercial film director Om Prakash Rao. 

Actor Sidhdhanth who made a debut in Minchu directed by Vishal Raj is now acting in his second film, AK 56, for which the actor himself has taken the reigns of the producer. Glamorous actress Shirin is the heroine of the film. Suchayeendra Prasad and Kote Prabhakar also play important roles. 

The film has been made with a huge budget of around Rs. 12 crores. Manohar is the cinematographer for this film for which Abhiman Roy has composed the songs and background music.

"We have spent around Rs.1.75 crores for the picturisation of a chasing sequence of the film", says director Om Prakash Rao. Shirin says that she is playing a bubbly girl in the film.
