Tamil biggies reminds us about Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Thalaivaa which is having a grand audio launch on Friday (June 21) in Chennai.
The entire team is upbeat not to mention heroine Amala who is gung-ho about her first biggie in Tamil opposite the hot ‘n’ happening hero Vijay. The actress who is said to have had a blast during the shoot has another reason to be proud of.
She has done something which none of her contemporaries have been able to do so far. After Asin, she becomes the first Mallu heroine to have dubbed in her own voice for Thalaivaa.
Amala, according to Vijay, her director and “best friend”, she worked hard for four days to get the diction and pronunciation correct. He told sify.com: “Actually Amala who has a good voice wanted to dub for Deivathirumagal and she tried, but it was a very intense character and we opted for a dubbing artist. I always encourage all my heroines to dub in their own voice which will give the character a natural feel and freshness”
Now that’s what you call a true professional!
