Amala Paul, that “crazy, happy, friendly” girl is back after a month-long schedule in Thailand and Bangkok for her next Telugu flick Iddarammayilatho. We were happy to pin her down after a long chase. She is still as bohemian as ever, more the quintessential hippy at heart than the conventional Tamil film heroines.
Talking about Allu Arjun her co-star Amala quips: “We became good friends and though it was physically tiring and challenging, I had a blast shooting in deep forest near Thailand. We all bonded like one big family and Puri sir is such an adorable human being. Bunny, Puri sir and me got along like house on fire and at the wrap-up party we all had a ball dancing to Gangnam style. I can’t wait to get back to the unit”
Amala who is referred as “mega heroine” of Tollywood is riding high after the success of Naayak has joined the shoot of Ilayathalapthy’s Vijay directed Thalaivaa in Mumbai. After a two weeks shoot, she will be flying to Spain for the songs.
Amala’s career is going great guns and when quizzed why she said no to Pawan Kalyan next, she reasons with a naughty smile: “I don’t want to be greedy. Jokes apart, there were dates issue and I hope to work with him in future”.
