Amala Paul has sported a daring look for director Ratna Kumar's Aadai (meaning:clothing).
She is seen in distress in the poster with toilet paper wrapped around her wounded body, holding on to a rusted rod in the first look of her upcoming film ‘Aadai’.
The actress looks wounded and tortured in the poster which indicates that she has undergone a lot of pain and is waiting for the right time to take revenge and escape out of a life-threatening environment. The first look poster was a shocker to the netizens and within a few minutes, it trended on Twitter.
Ratha Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame is directing the film and Vijay Karthik Kannan of Darling 2 fame is cranking the camera. In her official statement, Amala said: “Aadai isn't a regular script and projects like this is what fuels the quest of an artist to deep dive in them and bring out layers of human emotions. The intricacies of my character 'Kaamini' is already giving me jitters and especially to everyone else around me. After watching Rathna Kumar's Meyaadha Maan, my confidence spurred up with his capabilities of weaving storylines in an engaging narrative”.
Subbu Narayanan of V Studios is bankrolling the film.
