Ace director Ameer has filed a complaint at the Chennai Police Commissioners office against producer Gjnavel Raja and his Studio Green.

In his complaint,  Ammer says that he had written, directed and stepped in as producer of the film Paruthiveeran half way through after Studio Green backed out.

The film was produced under the Team Work banner.

The film went on to become a super hit and bagged two national awards including one for Priya Mani as best actress. Now Paruthiveeran is getting dubbed into Telugu as Palanti Veerudu and Ameer feels he should get 25 % as royalty as he is the writer of the film.

As per the writers association which protects the rights of any script writer’s work , Ameer is entitled to get a royalty. The noted writer and director has asked Tamil Nadu police to take appropriate legal action against Studio Green .The Telugu version of Paruthiveeran is being released through Light Boys banner.

Gjnavel Raja said : “ A case is already going on in Chennai city civil court. The matter is sub-judice.  I will be filing a defamation case against Ameer and face the matter legally. “
