Director Ameer has been quite busy of late with his film Adhi Baghavan. Apart from that he has been elected as leader of FEFSI, the all powerful union of film employees.
Coupled with that responsibility he was also the Vice President of the Directors Union and was an active member. But today he decided to resign from his position.
In his address to the media he has declared, “I have been the target of many unsavoury comments in the past few days over certain issues. I feel that the organization’s dignity is to be upheld at all costs and I don’t want any shadow of doubt to be cast over the position held by me nor the organisation. Therefore, I prefer to quit from my position as Vice President of the Directors Union.”
