Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the Mynaa success has made its heroine Amala Paul arrogant.
Amala the simple and nice girl from Kochi is finding it difficult to adjust to her earlier commitments.
The complaint against her is that she is dropping out of small hero projects and giving priority dates to bigger heroes!
First she walked out the film being produced by director Murgadoss after confirming it. She claims it was date problem, but the real reason is that she was not happy with the role and did not want to do a film with the hero who was cast opposite her.
Amala is a smart cookie and knows which way the bread is buttered. Her source close to her said: "She has to be very careful in with whom she is paired with as she is playing almost the heroine's role in Vikram's Vijay directed Deiva Magan. Next she has Lingusami's Vettai in which her pair is the hot and happening Arya".
She has also to finish an old commitment with director Pandiraj. She is also doing Mupozhudum Un Karpanaigal with fastest rising young star Adharva.
Last week Amala also had a meeting with director Suseendran, who is on the lookout for a heroine for his new film with Vikram, starting in March.
2011 is going to be a crucial year for Amala. If she plays her cards well, she may end up doing a film with Dhanush, Silambarasan and another with Vijay.
So it is but natural that she does not want to be seen with lessor heroes!
