A feel-good family drama about mistaken identities similar to Chitchor and the recent Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Director Seenu Vytla has handled the subject with streaks of comedy and has been successful to some extent but the flashbacks are too lengthy and on the whole the film is far from entertaining.
Kiran (Akash) is an engineer and in one of his visits to the work site, he happens to meet a girl Bhuvaneswari (Renuka Menon) in the train. It is love at first sight for the hero who later meets her family. Bhuvana’s elder sister (Preethi) had died due to negligence of her husband (J.D.Chakravarthy) and so Bhuvana’s father hates the idea of marriage. Everyone in the family hates Chakravarthy and his family as they blame him for Preeti’s death.
How Kiran clears all the misunderstanding between the two families and wins over everyone in Bhavana’s house form the rest of the story.
Akash is impressive in his role of the happy-go-lucky guy and has improved a lot as far as acting goes. The new girl from Malayalam, Renuka Menon looks cute for the role but her characterisation has let her down badly. J.D.Chakravarthy is good though he looks bloated. Venu Madhav and MS Narayana provide comedy. Music by Koti is a major drawback of the film.
