Ananya's engagement goes sour

On Valentine day, actress Ananya’s two week old engagement to Thrissur based businessman, Anjaneyan turned sour.

Ananya’s father Gopalakrishnan made a formal complaint at Perumbavoor police station that Anjaneyan is a divorcee and kept his first marriage under the wraps!

It seems Anjaneyan has confessed to the cops that he had been married earlier and now divorce proceedings are going on in a Kozhikode civil court.

All hell has broken out as the Kerala media says Ananya is being held a prisoner by her family and not allowed to venture out of her house. It seems Ananya is madly in love with Anjaneyan, a crazy fan of hers and knew from the beginning that he was a married man. Anjaneyan had married in 2008 and subsequently divorced her a year later.

Ananya who was on the verge of conquering Kollywood after her girl-next-door portrayal in films like recent super hit Engeyum Eppothum and Nadodigal (2010) had made her debut in 2008 with a Malayalam film Positive and got engaged to Anjaneyan on February 2, 2012.

Ananya in an interview said: “ All these are baseless rumours created by mischief mongers. I’m not a prisoner in my own house. Right now my immediate priority is to complete the five films that I’m doing and after that my marriage will take place.”
