Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie expressed her outrage over the shooting of Malala Yousafzai by the Taliban. The 14 year old who blogged about her life under Taliban rule was targeted in a barbaric manner by fundamentalists who tried to assassinate her. She survived the attempt and is currently in the United Kingdom undergoing treatment.
Angelina wrote about it in The Daily Beast website, stressing on the importance of education for girl children. She spoke about the horrific incident to her children who couldn't understand why men would commit such acts of savagery.
The actress is an ambassador for the UN and hopes that Malala will be honoured with a Nobel Peace Prize.
